L’attacco terroristico che ieri sera ha provocato la morte di 22 persone ferendone 59 in un concerto a Manchester era stata “prevista” su un account Twitter dedicato all’Isis, sospeso dopo l’attentato insieme ad altre decine e decine di sostenitori dello Stato islamico: lo rende noto l’Huffington Post britannico, che ha raccolto testimonianze e ipotesi di molti utenti. Non è chiaro se il tweet fosse legato alla strage o avesse “solo” l’obiettivo di seminare il panico.

Due tweet pubblicati qualche ora prima dell’attentato hanno attratto l’attenzione: l’utente @owys663 ha twittato circa quattro ore prima dell’esplosione in un inglese sgrammaticato: “Avete dimenticato la nostra minaccia? Questo è il terrore giusto“, con l’hashtag #Manchester e #islamicstate. Il secondo tweet diceva: “Ne abbiamo di più“.

Twitter in nottata ha sospeso decine di account, ma i sostenitori e i propagandisti dell’Isis hanno festeggiato su Telegram e su altri sistemi di messaggistica online.
